Il Linux Day 2024 torna a Brescia il 26 Ottobre 2024
Ebbene si! Siamo stati contattati da Vincenzo, uno dei sostenitori del Linux User Group, che si divide tra la zona di Mantova e Brescia, e siamo entusiasti di comunicare ai nostri utenti che abbiamo formalmente avanzato la nostra richiesta per un talk di 20 minuti, dove ovviamente introdurremo il progetto Ufficio Zero Linux OS (per il poco tempo a disposizione) e risponderemo a vostre eventuali domande.
Abbiamo mosso quindi uno step aggiuntivo per far conoscere le nostre release e perchè no, anche noi stessi, a tutti coloro che volessero parteciparvi.
Siamo onorati della richiesta dei volontari del LUG di Gottolengo (BS) e vi aggiorneremo sulla conferma dell'evento e del luogo, anche attraverso i nostri social.

Well yes! We were contacted by Vincenzo, one of the supporters of the Linux User Group, which is divided between the Mantua and Brescia areas, and we are excited to communicate to our users that we have formally submitted our request for a 20-minute talk, where we will obviously introduce the Ufficio Zero Linux OS project (due to the limited time available) and answer any questions you may have.
We have therefore taken an additional step to make our releases known and, why not, ourselves, to all those who would like to participate.

Il nuovo Postinstall sulle release Tropea, Vieste ed Urbino
Sapevate che sulle nostre release Tropea, Vieste ed Urbino il Postinstall ha una nuova veste grafica? Abbiamo pensato di migliorare l'esperienza di utilizzo dei nostri utenti, in modo che possano navigare tra le varie categorie create e selezionare software da noi consigliato per delle installazioni più semplificate.
Di seguito una panoramica con alcune slide.
Did you know that on our Tropea, Vieste and Urbino releases, the Postinstall has a new graphic design? We have decided to improve the user experience of our users, so that they can browse through the various categories created and select software recommended by us for more simplified installations.

Proton VPN Client rilasciato sui nostri mirror
Spesso sentiamo parlare di sicurezza, di profilazione dati, di anonimato in rete ma anche di restrizioni che alcuni governi pongono alla libertà.
In questo ambito, oltre ad aver introdotto da diverso tempo browser come Brave, LibreWolf o software per i più comuni dispositivi Fido2, oggi annunciamo l'introduzione del client Proton VPN sui nostri mirror.
Come installarlo? Vi basterà aprire il Postinstall e recarvi nella sezione Security da cui selezionare ed installare il pacchetto proton-vpn-gtk-app e le dipendenze degli altri pacchetti proton, disponibili sui mirror, verranno soddisfatte senza problemi di sorta. In alternativa anche da Synaptic o da altri Software Manager è possibile installare il client proton.
Ad installazione avvenuta cercate il client proton nel menu principale, anche digitando nel campo di ricerca veloce ed avviandolo vi apparirà una schermata di registrazione gratuita al servizio proton.
Da quel momento potete utilizzare il client vpn per una vostra maggiore sicurezza.
We often hear about security, data profiling, anonymity on the net but also about restrictions that some governments place on freedom.
In this area, in addition to having introduced browsers such as Brave, LibreWolf or software for the most common Fido2 devices for some time now, today we announce the introduction of the Proton VPN client on our mirrors.
How to install it? All you have to do is open the Postinstall and go to the Security section from which you can select and install the proton-vpn-gtk-app package and the dependencies of the other proton packages, available on the mirrors, will be satisfied without any problems. Alternatively, you can also install the proton client from Synaptic or other Software Managers.
Once installed, search for the proton client in the main menu, even by typing in the quick search field and starting it, a free registration screen for the proton service will appear.
From that moment on, you can use the vpn client for your greater security.
