Le Yubikey possono essere configurate su Ufficio Zero Linux OS

Da oggi, mediante i vari pacchetti rilasciati sui nostri repository, è possibile installare le utility per i dispositivi Yubikey Fido2 sulle nostre release.
I dispositivi Yubico insieme a quelli di SwissBit possono quindi essere utilizzati poichè compatibili con sistemi GNU/Linux.
Per farlo potete utilizzare Synaptic, ma prossimamente integreremo i pacchetti in una apposita sezione del Postinstall.
Abbiamo quindi elevato il grado di sicurezza delle nostre release, per tutti coloro che volessero implementare soluzioni di sicurezza in ambito aziendale.
From today, using the various packages released on our repositories, it is possible to install the utilities for the Yubikey Fido2 devices on our releases.
The Yubico devices together with those of SwissBit can therefore be used since they are compatible with GNU/Linux systems.
To do this you can use Synaptic, but soon we will integrate the packages in a special section of the Postinstall.
We have therefore raised the level of security of our releases, for all those who want to implement security solutions in the corporate environment.

Nuovo repository deb per le stampanti
Il problema principale di ogni release linux è rappresentato dalla mancanza di driver per le stampanti e le multifunzioni, ma anche dalla difficoltà di installazione degli stessi.
Da alcuni giorni abbiamo implementato un nuovo repository di pacchetti deb che contiene la maggior parte dei driver di stampanti e multifunzioni in commercio.
Questo nuovo repository è stato già implementato in aggiunta su ogni release che utilizza pacchetti deb e quindi sulle release 10 Basic, Tropea, Urbino, Portofino e Vieste.
Se dovessero mancare alcuni driver potete inviarci una richiesta alla mail dev[at]ufficiozero.org e cercheremo di rilasciare il driver della vostra stampante.

The main problem of every linux release is represented by the lack of drivers for printers and multifunctions, but also by the difficulty of installing them.
For some days we have implemented a new deb package repository that contains most of the printer and multifunction drivers on the market.
This new repository has already been implemented in addition on each release that uses deb packages and therefore on the 10 Basic, Tropea, Urbino, Portofino and Vieste releases.
If some drivers are missing, you can send us a request to dev[at]ufficiozero.org and we will try to release the driver for your printer.

Onet si aggiunge alla lista dei nostri mirror
Onet, il network d'informazione seguito da milioni di cittadini polacchi, ha concesso un mirror al progetto Ufficio Zero Linux OS.
Questo mirror insieme a quello offerto dal Centro interdisciplinare di modellazione dell'Università di Varsavia vanno a consolidare la fruibilità dei nostri servizi in tutta la Polonia.
Siamo quindi orgogliosi del supporto ricevuto e ringraziamo il partner Onet per aver reso più fruibile i nostri sistemi operativi.
Tutti i rami delle varie release riceveranno nei prossimi giorni il pacchetto di aggiornamento dei mirror ed il vostro sistema vi avviserà di eventuali aggiornamenti, che vi chiediamo di effettuare.
Onet, the information network followed by millions of Polish citizens, has granted a mirror to the Ufficio Zero Linux OS project.
This mirror together with that offered by the Interdisciplinary Modeling Center of the University of Warsaw consolidate the usability of our services throughout Poland.
We are therefore proud of the support received and thank our partner Onet for making our operating systems more usable.

Con Ufficio Zero Linux OS gli studenti possono apprendere in libertà
Ottime notizie per gli studenti e le scuole italiane: da oggi installando una delle release a 64bit tra la 10 Plus o la 11.1 potete usufruire di nuovi software ad uso scolastico tramite il nostro Postinstall.
Vi basterà aprire il Postinstall, andare nella macrocategoria School ed installare i software proposti con un semplice click.
Cosa offriamo alle scuole italiane?
Un pacchetto all in one che contiene il sistema operativo ed una suite di programmi installabili tutti in modo completamente gratuito, senza alcun costo di licenza. Poi tramite il Postinstall potrete anche installare il tool Veyon per l'usabilità di Ufficio Zero Linux OS nelle sale informatiche. I docenti potranno usare i pc degli studenti per mostrare loro lezioni, slide e quant'altro in simultanea su tutti le postazioni e tanto altro ancora.
Inoltre Ufficio Zero Linux OS è dotato della suite di Infomaniak (Kmail, Kcalendar, Kmeet, Kdrive, ed altro) che può essere installata sempre tramite il Postinstall recandosi nella macrocategoria Office. Ricordiamo che le singole utenze sono gratuite ma le scuole possono acquistare dei pacchetti per i docenti ed inoltre Infomaniak offre la possibilità agli studenti di richiedere gratuitamente l'hosting web da 250gb di spazio e la Ksuite gratuita fino a 10 utenti. Avete quindi la possibilità di sostituire la suite Google con una rispettosa della vostra privacy.
Cosa chiediamo?
Ufficio Zero Linux OS contrasta da sempre l'obsolescenza hardware programmata, per cui se avete delle postazioni dotate di un sistema proprietario con licenza non originale, vi chiediamo di fare il salto a Linux e scegliere una delle nostre release tra la 10 Plus che ha un aspetto simile a Windows 10 o la 11.1 che ha un aspetto simile a Windows 11.
I nostri sistemi hanno il file autoinstallabile chiamato installWine per poter installare il tool WineHQ ed utilizzare anche software che funzionano su sistemi operativi proprietari Windows.
Non utilizzate software piratato poichè potreste essere esposti a falle di sicurezza.
Ufficio Zero Linux OS è al fianco delle scuole italiane che possono risparmiare sulle licenze gestendo meglio le risorse che hanno a disposizione.
Great news for Italian students and schools: starting today, by installing one of the 64-bit releases between 10 Plus or 11.1, you can take advantage of new software for school use through our Postinstall. What do we ask?
Ufficio Zero Linux OS has always fought against programmed hardware obsolescence, so if you have workstations equipped with a proprietary system with a non-original license, we ask you to make the leap to Linux and choose one of our releases between 10 Plus which has a similar appearance to Windows 10 or 11.1 which has a similar appearance to Windows 11.
Our systems have the self-installable file called installWine to be able to install the WineHQ tool and also use software that runs on proprietary Windows operating systems.
Do not use pirated software as you could be exposed to security flaws.
Ufficio Zero Linux OS is alongside Italian schools that can save on licenses by better managing the resources they have available.
